The dream started with a little pink square camera, grew to a Polaroid and then the dream became a reality...the in between was captured to tell another tale.
“What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.”
— Karl Lagerfeld
Memory always seem to take me back to my childhood days, those endless days spent in a tree or on a rooftop, gazing out onto the otherwise unseen moments in nature, leaving me satisfied but exited to share what only I saw at that moment....those moments words could not describe. Not long after that little pink camera appeared in my birthday sock..the rest was captured to share, and oh how it brings back memories.
It started off with a bang and I traveled the world for a few years (the bug has bitten and will never let me go) needless to say, thank you bug. I Finished my degree in fine art and fashion and went on to doing a few more diplomas in marketing and photography. My (now upgraded) camera never leaving my side, I took the leap and decided to capture others special moments to share and cherish for years to come....
I would be a very confused and tired bird. Flying back and forth from the ocean to the bush veld as it is impossible for me to even fathom the idea of choosing.
My eyes and heart tend to see and appreciate the small things in life, the cheeky smile just before she walks down the isle, A moment shared between friends and dirty feet that brought you there after an adventure.
